Analytics & Tracking (Google Analytics 4)
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. GA4 collects data about how visitors interact with our website to help us understand and improve user experience and marketing performance.
GA4 may collect the following types of data:
- Pages visited and content viewed
- Session duration and browsing behavior
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Approximate geographic location (country/region level, derived from IP address)
- Referral source (how you arrived at our site)
- Conversion events, such as phone call clicks and booking form interactions
This data is collected via cookies and similar tracking technologies. IP addresses are anonymized by default in GA4 and are not stored in identifiable form. Data collected through GA4 may be processed and stored on Google’s servers in the United States. Google’s data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
You may opt out of GA4 tracking by:
- Enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser settings
- Installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on
- Adjusting cookie preferences if a consent banner is present on this site
Cookies
We use cookies to improve your experience on our website. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Here is how we use them:
Functional cookies: If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience. These last for one year.
Session cookies: When you visit our login page, a temporary cookie is set to check if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Authentication cookies: When you log in, cookies are set to save your login information and display preferences. Login cookies last two days; screen option cookies last one year. Selecting “Remember Me” extends login persistence to two weeks. Logging out removes all login cookies.
Editorial cookies: If you edit or publish content, a cookie is saved indicating the post ID of the edited article. It contains no personal data and expires after one day.
Analytics cookies: GA4 sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions and to measure site interactions. These cookies do not identify you personally.
Media
If you upload images to this website, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS data). Visitors can download images and extract any location information contained within them.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images, or articles from other websites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you visited that external site directly. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with their content — including if you are logged into an account on that website.
Who We Share Your Data With
- Google: Website usage data is shared with Google via GA4 as described above.
- Password resets: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
- Spam detection: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
How Long We Retain Your Data
GA4 data retention is set to a maximum of 14 months and is governed by Google’s data retention policies.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely to support comment moderation. Registered users’ personal information is stored in their user profile and can be viewed, edited, or deleted at any time (usernames cannot be changed). Website administrators can also access and edit this information.
Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site or have left a comment, you may request an export of all personal data we hold about you. You may also request deletion of your personal data, except where we are required to retain it for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
To make a data request, contact us at: oluken@live.com
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Analytics data is processed by Google LLC and may be stored on servers in the United States or other countries where Google operates.
