OUR CAPTAINS
Capt. Sarah Bryson
Captain Sarah is a Murrells Inlet native and has spent her entire life on the water chasing everything from bream to wahoo. On her days off, you will find her catching bait for the local tackle shops or reffing lacrosse games at the high schools. Her favorite fish to catch is redfish, and she will put you on the fish!
Capt. Melvin Holt
Captain Melvin is a South Carolin native and has been fishing these waters inshore and offshore since he was a kid. His favorite fish to target is Blackfin Tuna and Wahoo. In his time off you will find him in the warehouse making dredge bars and tying rigs for a local tackle company.
Capt. Austin Luken
Captain Austin is the Owner/Operator of Salty Hooker Fishing Charters. He is a Conway, SC local and has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a rod. You will find him day to day doing boat maintenance, answering phones, and filling in for any of our team that needs a day off. He loves to relax on the river in his time off, and his favorite type of fishing is grouper fishing.
Capt. Alex Hrycak
"Capt. Cak"
Captain Alex is our fill in captain for either boat. He regularly runs the 31ft contender at Marlin Quay Marina but fills in for us should we ever need a day off. Alex is a Murrells Inlet, SC local and has been mastering the fishing of these waters for many years. On his days off, you will find him guiding sea duck trips or in the woods hunting for anything in season. His favorite fish to target is wahoo, while high-speed trolling.
